Ear syringe is a procedure to remove a wax present in our ears.
Earwax, also known as cerumen, is a yellowish waxy substance secreted in the ear canal. The cerumen protects the skin of the ear canal.
To remove it, when is too much, the earwax needs to stay soft enough for the procedure, to make sure that there is not any risk for the patient (such as trauma).
So, first of all, you need to come to be observed; drops will be prescribed, to apply few days before the procedure, if needed.
Everything will be explained during the nursing consultation. You are in good hands!
